April Pannell, founder and CEO of AKW Financial, has over two decades of extensive expertise in the financial, accounting, and HR domains. Her illustrious career includes serving as corporate controller for a distinguished global Oil & Gas corporation, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership and financial acumen. Prior to this role, April held key positions as corporate controller and senior accountant in Atlanta, where she honed her skills and contributed significantly to her employer's organizational success.
April holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from American International College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Her outstanding academic performance and dedication to excellence were recognized with the esteemed Sydney Trager Award for Senior of the Year in the Accounting Major program, underscoring her commitment to excellence in both academia and professional endeavors.
April launched AKW Financial to provide financial advice and expertise to small business owners. She has helped numerous companies and organizations in the tech industry, healthcare, retail, construction and manufacturing industries.
